Force Tensiometer model K6

The K6 Force Tensiometer is a manual instrument for measuring surface and interfacial tension using the ring tear-off method. The Du Noüy ring is a specialized geometry made of platinum-iridium, which commonly used in measure the surface tension of a liquid or the interfacial tension between two liquids. It can accurate measurements surfactant solutions and solvents. The K6 is suitable for training purposes and demonstrating the action of the surface tension force.
